News: Horse Drawn Barge Closed due to Heat

Due to extreme heat we have made the decision to close the horse drawn barge on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2026. We would also like to let everyone know that we may make changes to operations or even Cancel Operations as we go
The heat this week is set to climb, with Friday 10th July 2026 being the Hottest Day. With this in mind, we have made the decision to CLOSE on Friday the 10th July.
We would also like to let everyone know that we may make changes to operations or even Cancel Operations as we Go through the Week Depending on the Weather.

Heat Notification Update
With the Hot weather still continuing to be 31/32 Degrees We have made the decision to Continue to Stay closed!
We are now CLOSED Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July. We hope to be back to normal operations on Tuesday 14th July 2026. (Subject to weather cooling down)
The Horses have been enjoying lots of shade and lots of cold showers to keep them nice and cool over this time and will continue to do so.
Becky and Myself would like to take this opportunity to Thank everyone for there support and understanding, it means a lot to us both!
We apologise to all those that have had a Trip cancelled with us, it was the last thing we wanted to do but a necessary one to protect our horses.
